Sustainability
We realize that everything is connected, which is why we think it's important to make loving decisions. Out of love for you, for the people who make the clothes and for nature.
Print on demand
Our products are made according to the print on demand business model. This means that when you place an order, the print of your garment is made just before shipment. The advantage of this is that Pamina does not have to buy large stocks. Stocks are not environmentally friendly. About 30 to 40% of the garments in the clothing industry are never sold and end up on landfill or are burned. That's sad, and we don’t like things that make us sad. Pamina only makes garments that are actually worn.
Product
We believe it is important to offer as many 'clean' products as possible, both in terms of their manufacturing and the conditions under which they are produced. That is why we only work with suppliers who can guarantee us to work under these conditions.
Our suppliers offer products in 2 different types of textile:
- 100% organic cotton: This is cotton from healthy cultivation with reasonable water consumption. Non-organic cotton uses 2700 liters of water per T-shirt during the production process. Organic cotton only needs 40 liters of water and no pesticides, insecticides or other chemicals are used during production. That's good for everyone, for the world, for the farmer, the seamstresses, but also for you, because Organic cotton is kinder to the skin.
- Recycled textile. This is a circular process. In the case of cotton, the old textile is processed, the cotton fibers are then reused for a new garment. Or non-renewable materials such as plastic bottles are used and these are then converted into recycled polyester.
- The artwork is printed with water-based inks, 100% eco-certified by OEKO-TEX and GOTS.
We think it's important that you will wear the garments for a long time and with great pleasure, because that's also sustainable. That's why the collection consists of timeless basics in premium quality.
